Let’s Learn about Canajoharie and the Haldi Cooling Technique from Daiana’s Spiritual Experience

We received a fresh spiritual experience from Daiana, who is practicing sahaja yoga meditation in Toronto;. She experienced it during her recent participation to a special international retreat hosted at Canajoharie, in the USA. Daiana is an avid reader of this blog, so she wanted to have it posted here for others readers to enjoy it! Plus, she visited our Halton region many a times, loves the local community and participated in the past to numerous beautiful Burlington events offered by the Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation team that made roots in Burlington 18 years ago..
Daiana’s Spiritual Experience at Canajoharie represents a Testimonial about the Power of Sahaja Yoga Meditation. Let’s listen to her experience with an open heart and maybe even open our hands to actually feel the energy that it emits! Enjoy!
Where Everything is Music – poem by Daiana

Canajoharie, Where Everything is Music – poem by Daiana
Where everything is music
This time of year
Melodious flute notes rise into the air
A Call within..
That makes you long to go back again and again.
At a cleared site,
People have left their heavy baggage,
They have kept opening inside,
At this place, without a door to hide.
Their souls start dancing early mornings,
A community of the spirit has been build on those fields,
They live like lotuses on the water, on silence,
Where hidden secrets have been revealed, within the notes…

Let’s listen to Daiana explaining her poem and sharing her overall Canajoharie Experience
Dear reader,
The poem refers to a special place called Canajoharie, where sahaja yoga practitioners can meet and
meditate together. Sahaja yoga meditation, developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, is an authentic,
effortless and spontaneous meditation which awakens the subtle spiritual energy, known as Kundalini.
When Kundalini rises through the spinal cord and pierces the fontanel bone area,

it gives us Self-Realization or Enlightenment.

Daiana is sharing her first experience with the Haldi “cooling technique”
Maybe one day you will come as well for a yoga retreat, to experience the benefits of sahaja
meditation, like quality of life, overcome stress, balanced personality, or just to experience the Inner
Energy, described as a “cool breeze”.
There are many techniques which can help you to improve your ability to feel the flow of this energy,
which we call “vibrations”.
This year at Canajoharie, I have tried a new technique which worked for me very well. On a beautiful
morning day, after walking bare foot on grass and having foot soak in a pond, I have decided to try
something new: to apply turmeric pasta (in Hindi is called haldi) on my palms.
Outdoors were 26 Celsius degrees, but suddenly my both palms became so cool, like I have had them on the fridge!
Amazing spontaneous cool breeze!! The experience was so refreshing, feeling the cool sensations on my palms,
that I wanted to share it with you.
I am sure that many sahaja yogi meditators can relate to it, but for me it was unique, a first “haldi” technique, which helped me to feel the flow of energy, the vibrations again and so real and strong!
