Kyla’s Softnesses Poem is Decorated for You

Kyla’s Poem is called Softnesses yet is is about Inner Strength – Yours and Ours – Enjoy!

Softnesses

Softness is pure love

Is a fluffy blanket upon flesh

Is an offering of recognition from someone

Is the smooth petal of a flower

Is landing in a foam pit

Is an emphatic hug

A release of tension

The smooth flow of water

A sigh

A loving exhale

A sentiment of being enough

Feeling OK in the whole world

Feeling accepted

True togetherness

An ocean of forgiveness

Warmth

Because warmth can melt what is not soft

Selections from Shri Mataji’s Talks – Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi is Kyla’s Spiritual teacher

Only Saints can understand Saints.

First your Sainthood has to be alright, otherwise how do you recognize a Saint.

If you are not getting vibrations, if you are not thoughtless, wherein the lotus of Sahaja Yoga has not blossomed in you, when your heart is closed then how can you respect a saint and who will respect you? It is straight forward.

When Saints are respected, then people think that ‘we should become respectable‘.

We will continue with the excerpt from Shri Mataji’s Lecture in New Delhi on Feb 16, 1986 Also Enjoy a few photos with Kyla meditating and sharing her love for Sahaja Yoga Meditation

To achieve that respect, we should do meditation with humility.

Through talks and lectures no work can be done.

Just saying ‘we are Sahaja Yogis’, it won’t happen. Just having a certificate, it won’t happen.

How much ever donation you give or not give, do anything, it won’t happen.

Till the time there are no fruits. It should be fruitful. It should bear fruits.

For that first you have to choose Love.

The love in which a person can see the truth and not only that, you get wisdom in that. You become wise in that love.

With that love, with that attraction, with that softness, slowly this tree starts to grow – it should be nourished with love. You should respect it and nourish it, you should respect yourself and nourish it. It should be grown and it should be decorated in such a way that people see it and say, ‘Wow! How many saints Mother (Shri Mataji) has made!‘.

How a Saint recognizes another Saint in these times – or how a Sister yogini recognizes the Beauty in another Sister yogini

This is an email exchange between Kyla and Anjali, both are sahaja yogini sisters and Cultivators of Joy here in our beloved Halton region. I witnessed is as I was copied to you years ago, and I felt it goes well with this article’s theme of ‘softness’.

In her message copied below, Anjali commented on Kyla’s poem that I mentioned during an online meditation class:

Dear Kyla, it is a beautiful poem and I received it as a gift from you this morning.

I hope to hear you more because it is a testament to the strength within you and I hope you will share your deep beauty with us through your heart touching poems.

I am so glad Ioana spoke about your poem ..it is exactly what Shri Mataji spoke about the sweetness and the softness that melts hearts .. amazing. “

Below I am sharing a photo in which Ioana, Anjali and Kyla are together, after providing a meditation for inner peace and self-realization in one of the schools we’ve been too, most probably here in Burlington.

Are You Interested in More Subtle Connections between Softness and our Spirituality?

Here there are a few more quotes from Shri Mataji. Kyla’s poem opened the door towards a space in which we can enjoy the beauty of words and human relationships. Why not learn a few things about the subtler ways related to our Spirituality too?

The first selection is from a Talk to Yogis in Stockwell, London, UK on December 1, 1977.

“It’s a fundamental thing that it is in a subtler way, of course, as much as I know, no scriptures have yet described it. That’s for sure – into such details, into such way, nobody had described it.

At least you should remember one thing:

that when the Kundalini (our subtle innate energy) rises,

you should see the pulsation rising,

dilatation of the pupil (the black part of the eye that lets in light) must take place,

you go into Thoughtless Awareness,

and then you jump, when you cross this point you get a softness there (in the limbic area),

and then you get the cool breeze, in the hands also you get the cool breeze.

It is described by Adi Shankaracharya.

What do we expect is, at collective consciousness, that is what they have to achieve:

Samuhik chaitanya (meaning Collective Consciousness in Sanskrit language).”

Shri Mataji advises: “You must have Balance, you must have the Softness of Nature.”

“Indifference to anyone itself is tremendous harshness.

For the small thing if a woman gets angry and doesn’t talk to her husband, or if the husband neglects the wife and doesn’t bother about her, looking after her, caring for her, then it’s a crime, according to Sahaja Yoga. It’s a wrong thing to do.

Because you must have balance, you must have the softness of nature.

You should talk very softly to others and be kind and nice. Just find out if You are doing that or not. 🙂

It’s a question of using the power of love.

We have no other power.

We have no money power, we have no this political power, economic power, nothing. What power we have got is the power of love.

For that, when you talk to each other, one has to talk in a soft manner – extremely soft and kind manner.

“Pink is the sign of love.

“So such a person has to have tremendous love and that Softness of the lotus.”

“Who is a lakshmipati – the one who is blessed with Lakshmi has to have a temperament like that.

Anybody who comes to his house should be very readily accepted.

Should be accepted and they should be very gratified to have such people in the house and should feel that

Oh God, what a blessing it is that we have a guest in the house.‘”

The above are Shri Mataji’s words during a Public Program in Sydney, on March 28th, 1981 as she was teaching about the Nabhi chakra and encouraged everyone to develop the Nabhi chakra’s qualities as well awaken the Lakshmi principle within. The following photos capture beautiful people. One can feel the softness in Kyla and her Yogini sisters. In fact, we feel blessed.

The first picture on this article is so powerful. It looks like a picture. I kept staring at it, the beauty of the nature fully captured well! It opened my heart and brought a gentle smile on my face, reminding me that even in this chaotic world, there is hope. Then followed Kyla’s poem, the sweet, gentle, yet deep words took me further in appreciating the beauty around me, motivating me to be silent within. Thank you for this amazing compilation of work of different seekers. Much appreciated.
