Jesus says: “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved (John 10:9, NIV).
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it ” (Matthew 7:13, 14, NIV). “The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world.” (John 1:9)
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying: I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
“And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the Sun, and .. and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.” (Matthew 17:2 and Revelation 1:16:)
Sahaja Yoga Mantra Book about Jesus Christ (excerpts): “You are the Narrow Gate. You adorn the Agnya Chakra. You are the Principle of Evolution. You are the Sun. You are the Way to the Kingdom of Heaven within us , to Sahasrara Chakra. You are the Light in the Eyes of Shri MahaLakshmi. You allow us to forgive. You were crucified and resurrected in pure Spirit. You were born in the Primordial Egg. You are the Primordial being, the Aum. You are Shri Maha Ganesha. You are the Purity of Innocence. You are a Child. You are Alpha and Omega. You are perfect Humility. You are the perfect sahaja yogi. You contain millions of universes.”
“We bow to the only son of His Virgin Mother – the Holy Ghost Shri Mary MahaLakshmi -, in whose every pore galaxies whirl as dust, who was born to teach us of His Father SadaShiva, the ever lasting God Almighty, Om Amen”
On Easter, in Sahaja Yoga Meditation there is always a great spiritual celebration where hundreds of people of all ages gather together to truly venerate the message and powers-qualities of Jesus Christ within us (at the Agnya energy centre/third eye chakra level) with the pure desire and hope that they will be awakened in everyone.
A meditative puja (veneration in Sanskrit language) is performed collectively during which everyone present maintains a profound thoughtless awareness while allowing to flow expressions of pure loving feelings and humble symbolical gestures. Each such global meditation event is usually dedicated to a certain chakra (subtle energy centre) and to its subtle powers represented by a certain archetype or incarnation that is universally recognized that had contributed to humanity’s spiritual journey. As we have many sahaja yoga meditation groups all across Ontario, various towns/classes take turns in hosting such global meditation events at the Ontario level.
We from ‘here’ (Halton-Niagara region) had the honor to organize the Sahaj Easter Meditation-Puja event; Our responsibilities included also the inspirational decoration/set-up as well the features-guidelines for the entire flow of the activities related to this event. Of course, we also sing mantras and songs to spread vibrations in the ether and enhance our emotional beings. During these preparations we learn and experience a lot. Enjoy Ela’s sharing below. Letter from Ela: My Easter with Signs & Angels (Personal Experience!)“Dear Sahaja Family,I would like to share my personal experience while getting ready for Easter Puja. I was asked to help with a backdrop. My ” job” was to paint Archangel Michael (that is the spiritual governor of our Left/Moon/emotional energy channel). He is very close to my heart as I pray to angels daily. Due to previous commitments, one yogini couldn’t paint the second archangel, Shri Hanumana (known as Archangel Gabriel in the Judaism, Christianity and Islam beliefs), so I had to take over. To be honest, I wasn’t happy about it. In my “Christian mind”, painting an angel with a “monkey face” and a tail (as it is represented in the Indian mythology) was a little bit too much for me to deal with. Here was my first lesson … how hard it is for us to change our beliefs, we strongly hold on to our conditions in order to “feel safe and secure”, even if this “safe feeling” is fake and is usually fear-based. Back to Shri Hanuman… In order to get to know him better, I decided to study more sahaj knowledge about this archangel. The more I learned about him, the more love and admiration I had for him. When I was ready to paint, I decided to light a candle and invite Shri Hanumana to come and guide me during the process. My intention was to show his beauty, strength, power, and love he has for all of us. I got a regular white candle from a box of candles.I was absolutely amazed when I looked at the candle’s knot. Believe it or not, the knot was in a shape of a little angel.Wow! I felt like Shri Hanumana was telling me, “Don’t worry, I’m here to show my love and guidance !” For sure he was there! I felt waves of coolness while painting him. When the painting was done, I really felt his love for all of us. To my surprise I realized that Shri Hanuman became closer to me than Archangel Michael. Just one more reflection….While cleaning Shri Mataji’s silver made footprintI felt for the first time coolness in my heart, just pure joy and happiness… no need to add more:-) Almost that I didn’t feel like putting them away. I could hold them for hours!Another little miracle happened just earlier, while writing about Shri Mataji’s silver footprint and feeling coolness in my heart the hot wax from the candle went on my glass table and cool off in a shape of a foot!I’ve made photos to share these incredibly re-assuring proofs that our awakened hearts are listened to by the Sacred Universal Heart and that we are all speaking the same universal language when Kundalini energy is fully awakened within us. Looks like we’re not helping to organize pujas, pujas are helping us to become better yogis. I’m so blessed that I was able to experience all these beautiful things on my Sahaja Yoga path to spiritual freedom.
Of course, as in all traditional spiritual traditions the Teacher, the Guide is the one that facilitates the Oneness and in yoga is the Guru. We are so lucky that our guru is a spiritual mother that is universal in her knowledge and teachings of yoga-meditation’s techniques and wisdom; even more, her powers are truly transformative and are able to be transmitted to her ‘children’ as she used to call us all. Shri Mataji is ultimately our source of inspiration and the yogic portal for our union with all and every single great spirit and avatar that walked on this earth. So we honor and invite her to be present with Her spirit and bless us all. Hope you felt it!
