What did the Students Say about the Wellness Month in School with Sahaja Yoga Meditation?

Let’s see how the Wellness Month was celebrated in School with Sahaja Yoga Meditation workshops and What did the Students say about it!

Two weekly sahaja yoga meditation workshops were provided to students and teachers during the Wellness Month – May 2018.

Our teams of volunteer instructors were requested to teach teenagers that love to dance … how to engage also in the trans-formative yoga and meditation practice. They are getting there!

Feedback from Students:

Let’s check the rest of the Feedback collected from our “yogi apprentices” as well from a new team member, Kyla.

Feedback from Kyla – Burlington Sahaja yoga class

Hi Ioana, My own meditation experience today was great.  I felt oneness with the other’s energy and I felt a sense of hope, relief, faith and peace for my own 14 year old self who I think yearned for an experience like this.  More often in meditation I feel nice experiences within myself,  but during today’s I was more drawn to the energy and space beyond me.
Here are the responses to “Your impression today….” that we collected from the students:
-Today’s lesson was relaxing and helped me feel more balanced, in control and aware of my body.
– It was very enjoyable.  Thank you for your time!
-It’s very relaxing, it helped reduce my stress
-I thought that the yoga today was very relaxing- > It helped me see a new side of me. Thank you.
-Great work
Calming, united with myself.
-Very relaxing, enjoyed it
The yoga is very calming and it’s a nice way to clear the mind.  It’s very peaceful and I enjoy it a lot.
-Very relaxing and mind clearing.
-I felt it was really useful and very relaxing…  I love yoga!  Great teacher and helpers.
Thanks again! – Kyla

Amazing! I really want to know more about the way you combined the yoga asanas with meditation. We might bring more people to sahaja yoga this way.

This is amazing. It’s so good to see young seekers getting their realization and reading their positive comments! It brought smile to my face to see Kyla and Anjali joining the team to awaken Kundalinis. Keep it up.

It is so rewarding to share this simple method of attaining “thoughtless awareness” meditation with youth and adults…their testimonials are eye opening and life affirming. It helps us to see and feel what is the universe inside and how it can make us feel like we have roots, a sense of belonging, inspiration, self esteem and personal empowerment. The students are just so deep with so much potential for positivity. And the team of Kyla, Anjalie, Celli and Ioana were in tune with what the teens needed to know about their true, innate selves. Great job!
