Canadians Meditate at SummerFest in Burlington

Let’s take a quick glance to the Meditation Workshops offered at the SummerFest in Burlington

Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network was a proud contributor to the SummerFest 2024 edition

It was wonderful that our team of volunteers from Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network was able to participate along other wonderful teams of volunteers to this outdoors festival offered on Fri, June 28, 2024 in our beloved Brant Hills community.

We should disclose the fact that we offered continuously for 18 years, free weekly sahaja yoga meditation classes at the Brant Hills Community Centre. Actually, our classes started the very same year when the Brant Hills Community center was opened. Therefore, anytime we get a chance or we are invited we will be there! This time we brought with us 100 Seeds of Joy!

100 Seeds of Joy community initiative seems to be embraced by Burlingtonians of all ages

Right from the start we had parents and children that wanted to try our meditation. Kudos to them!

Everyone had a chance to check the energy of their tree of life and enjoy moments of calmness

Lovely lady came by and tried our meditation wokshop.

We had quite a few families appreciating the opportunity to come by to our booth and connect to Mother Earth’s energy, under the guidance of our meditation instructors. It was very heart warming to listen them sharing their experience and feedback.

It seems that the Cool Kids and Parents workshops that we initiated for the Burlington community few years back, will continue to be popular as more and more understand that meditation can be practiced also as a family.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network team started Canada Day events with a Meditation Marathon!

As it was Friday, most of our SYMN / 100 Seeds of Joy volunteers came to the event right after work.

The setup came up beautifully, also with the help of the other volunteers; we have to applaud the great organizers of this beautiful outdoors event, Rishia and Leena!

We also appreciate their graceful communication, we were so happy to be there with everyone!

Thank you email received from the SummerFest 2024’s organizers. We Thank Them back!

The Meditation Marathon continued that Friday, for Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network team

We took only a few photos during the SummerFest 2024 and in a rush (as mentioned before we got busy right from the start).

Less than 45 minutes since the event started, we had to split the team. Two of us (Ioana and Shivangna) had to head over to Brampton for another event on Friday evening where our services of Cultivators of Joy were requested and required 🙂.

Shivangna and Ioana from SYMN teamt took this selfie later in the evening before leaving the 2nd meditation event that day.

“Joy-Giving” Quote from Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi (March 21, 1923 – February 23, 2011)

Joy-Giving is the character, the nature of Spirit

So you have to first understand that Life is for Giving Joy to others.’

Let’s continue sharing details about our Meditation Marathons, as we are also providing two short articles for you to explore!

We had the joy to meet beautiful people and build further connections that will spring into more wellness events provided by our volunteers from Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network. Also, such marathons of cultivating joy through wellness workshops featuring sahaja yoga meditation are happening quite often for our team of volunteers.

I was asked at the Brant Hills and Mountainside Summerfest how can we offer the 100 Seeds of Joy workshops and weekly meditation classes for free . … my answer was … when you give this experience with the self-realization, the Kundalini energy flow and the other person can feel it, then you yourself feel elated.

I am so proud of this dynamic team who is joyfully giving self-realization, a simple meditation technique, to all the people in the community. Loved the article and the pictures. Hopefully I will be able to join the nextone with them.

A selfless attitude towards sharing self realization workshops to community at large. Completely in awe. Of course when we give we get back tenfold…so it’s blessings all around.
