We were Honored to Share our Self-Realization exercise with the Canadian Azeemia Sufis and Community Representatives gathered together for the Annual Adam’s Day 2025 Event.
Since 2013, every year we are invited by the Azeemia Sufi Order Canada to their annual Adam’s Day event.
Let us share with you the Certificate of Appreciation received by Ioana representing Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network as a Guest Speaker, from Ms. Rashida Jilani – in charge for Azeemia Spiritual and Healing Centre Canada – during the Adam’s Day 2019 wrap-up ceremony.
Certificate of Appreciation awarded to Ioana Popa – Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network – by the Azeemia Spiritual & Healing Centre Canada for participating as a speaker at Adam’s Day 2019 (Unity in Diversity).
Therefore, it became a tradition for our “Free Meditation” team of yogis – as we are introduced by our Sufi friends, before being asked to offer a speech to the gathering, among other remarkable representatives from various faiths and communities.
This article is introducing you all to the Adam’s Day 2025 event, from our perspective as active participants and representatives of the Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network team of volunteers.
In 2025, once again, the Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network team was invited to provide a Speaker for this event!
It was wonderful to reconnect with the Leaders from Sufi Azeemi Canada – the oneness was felt!
In 2025 we felt inspired to provide a Special Experience aligned to the Adam’s Day theme of Unity.
Ioana and Shivangna (Sahaja Yoginis from Halton region) decided to introduce the gathering of Sufis and Community representatives (from various public institutions, such as the local Police as well ministers, professors or faith leaders) to Sahaja Yoga Meditation’s fundamentals and the Self-Realization experiment, followed by a live flute music that continued to support the thoughtless awareness meditative state. You should try it too!

We hope that the Photos we share from Adam Day’s 2025 Event make You understand What a profound Experience was for us, as well for the Sufis and Everyone that tried the Self-Realization experiment with us!
As we just received the invitation to participate to Adam’s Day 2026 event, we want to share with you what a special experience was our last year participation, when we had again the opportunity to introduce again, yet in another spontaneous format, the experience of Self-Realization and the ‘sahaj built-in connections’ to everyone.
We were joyous and humbled to receive a warm feedback about its impact! It seems that the entire event was filmed to be shared with the global Sufi Azeemia community, so we hope that our message of Unity in Diversity reached many hearts.
After the event, we were approached by Sufi Azeemia members, men and women, young people too, telling us how they felt the energy flow and showing interest to know more about it.

It was wonderful to learn how the Sufi Azeemia Order members continue to make a difference in the communities from Pakistan in the health and learning areas, as well sharing their message of unity among all human beings, here in Canada.
In fact, as in the previous years we were interviewed by their media team, this time, it was wonderful to hear that even the ones that were filming the event appreciated our Sahaja Yoga Meditation presentation. That was quite moving and surprising!
Many beautiful photos posted in this article, are a sign of courtesy from the professional photographer of the event – also a Sufi Azeemia Order member – who was visiting Canada specially for Adam’s Day.
Every year, we are not only reconnecting with old friends (such a Ms. Rashida Jilani, Kamran or Sadaf), but we get to know other members of this beautiful community.
All Sufis that we met so far, express genuine love for humanity the way we, as sahaja yogis feel it and manifest it.
Isabelle, Shivangna and Ioana represented at Adam’s Day 2025 the Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of volunteers that offer via Free-Meditation.ca FREE self-realization classes, beautiful events and pure, positive and healing holistic knowledge.
We were pleasantly surprised to recognize photos and videoclips with our Sahaja Yogis participation and interviews from the previous Adam’s Day events in the presentation offered at the start of the program. We are glad to know that there is mutual appreciation and affection.
We are saying Farewell not Good Bye, as we are looking forward to Adam’s Day 2026!

Sufi Azeemia & Sahaja Yogis will reunite and Bring our Positiveness Together for Adam’s Day 2026

Salam Alaikum and Namaste, we will Meet Again on August 10 for Adam’s Day 2026!
We hope you enjoyed this ‘easy article’ as it was made mostly out of photos!
You might agree, that is quite appropriate to share by the end of this recollection, an image showing how everyone learned the subtle significance of the ‘Namaste’ gesture and salute, during Ioana’s brief introduction to Sahaja Yoga Meditation’s fundamentals.
So it happens that this article is posted precisely on ‘Guru Purnima‘ day, when the Gurus (spiritual teachers) are lovingly remembered and offered our deepest respect and gratefulness.
(food for thought – explore later) What is the qualification of a Guru? (Guru Purnima intro)
The members of the AZEEMIA SPIRITUAL & HEALING CENTRE Canada, every year on August 10, during their annual Adam’s Day event, they listen to and express their utmost respect to their fatherly SUFI SHEIKH KHWAJA SHAMSUDDIN AZEEMI — the Sufi Master Azeemia Order.
We understand their deepest feelings for their spiritual teacher as we, in Sahaja Yoga Meditation, remember and honor our spiritual motherly teacher, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – the founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation.
Therefore, in this moment, I feel inspired to dedicate this article to Guru Purnima – as a humble token offered to all true, genuine, amazing Gurus who brought Unity and shaped Adam and Eve’s children, through the journey of Humanity’ continuous evolution towards individual and collective fulfillment known as self-realization.

100 Seeds of Joy, your seedlings planted years ago together, as part of Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network, have branched out to this wonderful Sufi organization multiple times, and I can literally feel love for this union of higher hearts catapulting through the atmosphere and sprinkling enlightenment near and far. With open hearts and minds we can feel the oneness, the connection and the human beauty of the stars that exist on earth.
We are part and parcel of this entire universe. And this yoga connection is built for sharing and expanding our awareness of our interconnectedness with all living beings along with the planet’s natural gifts. it is a living, breathing breath of earth waiting for us to discover its might. It is a palatable, positive energy that tugs at the corners of our mouths into a relieving smile, joy, peace…and puts a sparkle of knowing and light in our eyes. The health and wellness benefits are priceless.
It is a good platform to spread the divine message of unity among all human beings shared by our Holy Mother Shree Mataji and the Azeemia spiritual and healing centre. Shree Mataji recognized the creativity of musicians from Islamic background. Such an auspicious moment to post this article on Guru Purnima Day. Our dearest Sister Ioana and team of sahaja yogis selfless and effortless contributions are immense to perform self realisation events and truly a commendable work.
Reading about everyone’s experience with Self-Realization and seeing how warmly it was received fills the heart with hope. Thank you to all the volunteers and organizers for creating such a meaningful space on Adam’s Day where people could connect, meditate, and experience something so uplifting.
The warmth and openness of the Sufi community shine through every photo and every word. It is truly inspiring to see two spiritual traditions come together with such love, respect, and humility, reminding us that sincere seekers are united by the same heart.
Wishing this beautiful friendship continues to grow and inspire many more hearts in the years to come. Salam Alaikum, Namaste, and much love to everyone involved.
