You Came! Kyla’s Poem and Invitation to Feel Shri Mataji!

You Came is a Poem born of One Yogini’s Connection and Love for Her Spiritual Teacher

Let’s Absorb Kyla‘s Poem on this Special Day of February 23: You Came!

Our dear friend Kyla wrote other beautiful poems and comments to our articles, sharing her experiences with Sahaja Yoga Meditation. You can explore our blog and search for ‘Kyla’ for more. This poem is published today on February 23 – when we remember Shri Mataji who is our spiritual teacher, The One who Came for Each and All! Therefore, this Poem is ours too.

You Came!

Thank you,

I wrote to you last night

And last night

You came to meet me in my dream

Jai Shri Mataji

A casual event with a childhood friend

Spontaneously became the end

Of a very long procession line

With many, many people

Who came for you.

I didn’t wait long

I was a focus of your attention

You were majestic

In some ways simply untouchable…

…. of a different form

You were beautiful and your hair long, thick, and grey

You made long eye contact with me

You returned your attention to me

You knew my name

Just as the others have always told me,

That I’m ‘protected’,

That ‘the vibrations are cool’

To me, they are telling me

You know me

You confirmed this fully last night

You asked how I am- though you know

A big smile upon your face

I asked back

How are you?

As a formality, but for you, rhetorical

You invited me in for a hug and a hold

I knew without a doubt you were real

And that I finally got to see you in person

I finally got to meet you

I told you that I love you

No more was needed between us.

You came to confirm to me

To really let me see for myself

You needn’t give any advice or soothing,

    reassurance, or comfort

The reverent confirmation

was very clearly received

I’m so happy and awed and will be fulfilled

Jai Shri Mataji~

The respect and love in the articles is felt deeply. And the guidance and the protection I feel reading what Shri Mataji is teaching us is filling my heart with so much love and deeper awareness.

I am so moved by Kyla’s dream and poem, of a teacher who watches over us earthlings and lives through her teachings and how we imbibe those pure qualities… we have come to know these specialties about our beings, as our superpowers. Short and sweet is the article, but eternal and wide in its reach. It offered me a hand outward while I was here in Dominican Republic. Though you are my physical neighbor, Kyla, And I am far away, your words reached out here, and the lightness they carry are filling up the atmosphere with specialness through my new eyes. The eyes of what I read, your words, the eyes that read about less reaction, from Shri Mataji, more witnessing, and I am refreshed and renewed, again and again. Knowing I am part and parcel, we are connected to the whole cosmos. A sky and land and sea we all share in harmony. That’s the goal, to feel this connection through thoughtless awareness…the silence of the cosmos.

The way Kyla articulated her dream about mother’s love
In this poem is amazing,This is how mother protect us in each and every step, every moment in this journey of life and our accent. And
yes this is the debt we owe to her which
We cannot pay back. Thanks for sharing these amazing words.
