Explore the Connection Stories shared by Shivangna, Kruti, Sahaj P. and Elizabeth from our Cultivators of Joy team of volunteers (SYMN or 100 SOJ)
Let’s read attentively the following three short stories and realize the positive impact brought in our Halton community by the Wellness Programs offered by our 100 Seeds of Joy initiative
We meditated with what felt like a mini-Canada, with people of all backgrounds and ages.

It was an amazing event at the multicultural festival in Burlington, dedicated to the Afro-Caribbean community, with fantastic feedback from everyone that came to try our meditation workshop with the 100 Seeds of Joy team!
We meditated with what felt like a mini-Canada, with people of all backgrounds, religions and ages…
Every meditation was tailor made for everyone and somehow we had the right people on the team who spoke certain languages that were put to use for seekers.
Our guided meditations with self-realization experience was given in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Farsi.
We were visited as well by seekers interested in meditation that shared with us they had African/Caribbean roots.
It was a lovely experience for our team to meet men and women of that background who came with such an open heart, genuine curiosity and desire to learn more who meditated with us, got their realization and felt the pure connection.
Listen to this “I feel Connected!” Story
We share the second “Connection Story” from Burlington’s Afro-Canadian Fete.
The first four women in search for a meditation workshop were friends from a Persian background.
After they participated in a guided meditation, they also received a chakra energy workshop.
One of our meditation instructors felt to pray silently, for one of these ladies and was inspired to ask:
“I pray for this seeker of truth to feel connected”…
Amazingly, when she asked the Iranian lady (the seeker) right after her chakra energy workshop how she felt, she responded “I feel Connected!!”
“Can I have this Every Day?!” is our third Connection Story
Another person came by, in her early 20s and said, before meditating:
“I want to feel calm. I really need that.”
She tried our meditation workshop right after, and, surprisingly for her, it was such a deep experience!
Because even in the midst of all the loud music and sounds of the crowd,
she said that when she meditated, she suddenly could only just hear the birds.. everything else disappeared…
and she asked “Can I have this everyday?? I can’t believe what I just experienced it!”
We selected those three Connection Stories to prove that even in the noisy or distractive environment our method of providing meditation and energy workshop is effective!

In addition we have some great Soul Music News for the Halton Afro-Caribbean Community offered via the 100 Seeds of Joy community initiative created and promoted by Halton’s Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of volunteers.
Did you know? Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of Volunteers invited a Wonderful Artist:
Rachelle Jeanty from Montreal offers a mini Soul Music concert as Special Guest Singer of the 4th Annual Live Afro Caribbean Canadian Waterfront Fete
Enjoy the News: Bronte’s Afro Caribbean Canadian Fete is Ready for 100 Seeds of Joy’s FREE wellness workshops featuring Simple Meditation and Chakra Energy checking
We have a lovely team of Cultivators of Joy that are looking forward to meeting you on Saturday!

You might be Lucky and Get to sit on a Special Chair like the ones you can see below. They are made available for everyone’s use in Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park
Some interesting trivia and proof of connectiveness: Did you know that these chairs were painted by and / or creatively designed by no other than the Director of Halton’s Afro-Caribbean Festivals as part of the FAME program / Halton Youth arts Cultural Craft Committee? Students were involved by Vanda to contribute with painting three other chairs and they earned community involvement hours to go towards the required hours for Ontario Secondary school diploma. Great job!
You should listen to this “CHAIR-ished Serendipity” story:
Just before publishing this article, I felt an impulse to rearrange the “opening” with the chair photo that I kept for so long and never used it because it was never the right moment.
I enjoyed those chairs made available in the Bronte Heritage Park and often wondered ‘How they came into existence?!
As this article is all about Bronte, meditation and “chair yoga“, an invite to “come and stay”, or dance and sit, relax and enjoy the vibrant community coming to Bronte for this lovely event — I felt that now is the Bronte Chair’s moment to shine!
Then, I “had to” share the article with the Bronte Festival’s organizing team and to my surprise later that day the following response came: “You know I painted 5 chairs there, right? LOL”. ha ha! What were the chances?! Serendipity!

I am so blessed to have found Sahaja Yoga Meditation on my second month in Burlington. It was truly meant to happen. I may have missed the previous festivals where SYMN held such beautiful outdoor meditation sessions, but every gathering a real joy – it’s like nourishment for the soul! Shri Mataji blessing us all while we find our light within.
