Discover the White Elephant and Saint Cloud’s Stories in the Joyful Buzz of Innocence and Inner Peace offered by Creative Earth Meditations at the Oakville Fall Fest 2024

Feel the Undeniable Joyful Buzz manifested around our SYMN booth at the Oak Park Fest 2024

We had the joy of meeting again MP Effie T. who came by our booth; we had the opportunity to chat about our next wellness dedicated campaign!

Let’s explore the Joyful Buzz with Earth Meditation and Organic Henna brought by Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network volunteers at Oak Park Fall Fest 2024 on Ganesha Chathurthi Day

Shivangna from SYMN’s 100 Seeds of Joy team, is conducting an ad-hoc Cool Kids class with Earth Meditation.

As always with our articles, you will also learn New Things and Uncover Connections

Be prepared to be amazed! Some of the connections that we will be sharing about this special day are new to us as well. For instance, have you heard about ST. Cloud?! What about Ganesha Chaturthi?!

Both were celebrated on September 7th when we had the joy of actively contributing to one of Oakville’s most beloved festivals. Take a closer look to the photos, you might be asked to find what we call “sahaj clues” or subtle connections.

Let’s dive in! That means dive into the clouds as well. 🙂

A White Elephant and Saint Cloud were blessing the Joyful Buzz with Earth Meditation and Organic Henna Workshops at Oak Park Fall Fest 2024 on Ganesha Chathurthi Day

Look above! It felt like a great omen! Ioana took this photo while the officials opened the event; Noticing the cloud above that had the shape of a white elephant’s head, even with wings :-), she was reminded that the same day many people celebrate the “Ganesha Chathurthi”.*music video clip)

Did you know? September 7 happens to be a Day celebrated in many religions for Good reasons

As always, we in Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network enjoy bringing people together and realize our oneness in goodness.

Who is Saint Cloud? On September 7th, the Catholic Church honors the memory of Saint Clodoald, popularly known in France as Saint Cloud, who escaped from violent political intrigue to pursue holiness as a hermit. He was known as a healer, leaving in the forest, loving God and completely devoted to the poor people even though was born a prince. The images below offer other “sahaj connections” related to the day, one of them is the number 108 that happened to be in the vicinity of our team’s participation in providing gifts meant to bring the joy of inner peace and wellness in our community.

Paula, Kruti, Kathleen and Shivangna from SYMN were spreading all day long the joy of meditation and their love for Mother Earth and for her earthlings 🙂 that participated in this FUN-full community event on September 7th in Oakville, Halton.

It’s a Promise to You: by the end of the article You can say “I’ve Been There too!”

Check this video-clip and make a quick tour of our tent filled with joy, meditation and colour-painting artistry:

Let’s continue:

Our SYMN team participates every year to this great community event. We are invested (heart & mind) to contribute in making it a success! The OPNC organizing team was once again amazing! Mother Nature was a bit moody, asking the Sun to Play “hide and seek”, and allowed the Wind to rule the entire event while the Rain took only was jogging for a short while through the Oak Park Fest, checking relatively gently on our determination to hold the fort no matter what!

Which we did!

We had a chance to meet and discuss the important “Inner Lights” subject with Halton officials

Another achievement of the heart and mind: the New Sahaja Yogis – Beginner Meditators from our Halton’s FREE Meditation & Chakra Energy Classes had a chance to Learn and Enjoy how to Distribute Light and Joy into the Community

Sargam and Robin – SYMN volunteers – came early in the morning to help with the set-up and the first waves of interested seekers.
At the beginning of the Oak Park Fest we had a chance to provide 1:1 energy workhshops, later on we had mini-classesearth meditation only!!

We are taking you for a ride with this article: get ready to explore Photos and Crumbs of Wisdom

Enjoy Quotes of Wisdom as we Navigate through the Oak Park Festival experience:

First quote is about Innocence:

“First and foremost thing that is to be understood,

that the Innocence should be respected, looked after, nourished and protected.

That’s why I’m very particular about the children.”

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi — the founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation (public lecture in Italy at Cabella Ligure on Sept 19, 1993)

The second Quote of wisdom is about the Powers of Innocence:

“This innocence also gives you a power of self-understanding. You know where you stand. A person who is innocent knows very well that he is standing on the pedestal of virtues. He should not give in to all kinds of nonsensical things which are very popular, may be fashionable, may be accepted. For what? For what are we going to sacrifice our innocence? What is our gain? ” (Sept 19, 1993, Cabella, Italy)

We received Great Feedback from Everyone that tried our Earth Energy Meditation!

Ioana from SYMN team is helping with the “energy tree” of those participating in the free Earth meditation classes offered at the Oak Park Fest 2024.

Some stats from SYMN team of volunteers:

Last year we counted about 250 people joining our booth at the Oak Park Fest as we started earlier and stayed later until 8pm. This year, despite very moody weather, and shorter timeframe of the event, around 100+ people took the time to meditate with us!! Which is amazing!! Kudos to our Halton’s beautiful community!

Shivangna from SYMN’s 100 Seeds of Joy team is teaching meditation to an interested group of people (chidren too)

Our artistic hand-decorations received praised from everyone and We received Invitations to offer our Cool Kids Meditation with Creative workshops (our “brand” since long) to a Parents’s club in the future!

Big Thanks to Kruti, Shivangna and Kathleen for volunteering with their talents as they multi tasked between leading meditation sessions and beautifully decorating hands

We had students that came by to try our meditation and returned with their friends. Mothers with their children; entrie families trying our Earth meditation together; People from all walk of life. Some that asked us to use a hearing app, they found peace within. From “Awaesome”, “I cannot believe how peaceful I feel”, “Oh, I needed this, my friends needed it”, “Can you come to my school?!”, “I’ll talk to the women group I’m in, you guys must come”; children forgot about the “promised fun”, and some did not open their eyes until we told them to. They felt peaceful and relaxed; enjoyed feeling Mother Earth’s energy.

Connections: Did you know? Today is also Ganesha Chathurti! Let’s Find the White Ganesha!

Today is a special day! For once because on Ganesha Chaturthi  is celebrated the birth of Lord Ganesha when millions of people sing and meditate on Shri Ganesha – not only Hindus but also Buddhist and Jainists revere this extremely popular spiritual symbol as the remover of obstacles, supporter of fresh beginnings, and the patron of arts and sciences and the divine principle of  intellect, innocence and wisdom.

Let’s continue with our “Today’s Connections” section, we can enjoy and learn from it:

In Sahaja Yoga Meditation we also embrace the universal truth and is enjoying these universal connections; for instance the image of Lord Ganesha is of child with a head of an elephant. Its essential qualities (innocence, purity, the joy of a child, spontaneity and wisdom) are considered to be manifested through the Root Chakra (subtle energy center) which is tuned to the Earth element.

In perfect serendipity, on this day our team of volunteers offered Earth Meditation during our outdoors wellness sessions and the vast majority of those attending our sessions were children and young people, joining with their families, and even with their pets. Actually we had a few doggies that loved the energy and were really good during our Earth meditation classes!

Take in the Last bits of sharing from a mountain of Joyful Evidence about “How was it?”:

We are saying Good Bye until we meet again SOON!

There are two other Festivals this September in Halton region and we will be there! Check our Calendar of Events:

Last note on “sahaj connections”: we also enjoyed seeing the great joy of a lady who tried the henna painting for her first time ever and she was wearing a necklace with a a white elephant pendant. How cool is that? In the morning we noticed a big white cloud above the building during the officials’ welcoming speech for the opening of the event. You’ve seen those?!

We hope that we were able to make you travel in time and space and BE with us at the amazing Oak Park Fest 2024.
