Feel Their Energy: Twenty Kids All Ages Rock and Roll

Trust that You will Feel their Energy when You’ll Read their Notes and Watch their Art Rock

Tonight Something Very Special Happened in Burlington! There was a 100 Seeds of Joy event specially for the Cool Kids & Parents & Grandparents offered by Burlington’s Cultivators of Joy!

Our Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of volunteers kind of invented the “Cool Kids & Parents” classes and events many years ago. Some of us were parents with small kids or teachers and wanted to share our love for meditation, innocence, joy, culture and creativity with other parents and kids; ultimately in every one the inner child awaits to be awakened and bring joy into one’s life.

The photos we shared above and below are from tonight’s 100 Seeds of Joy workshop offered in partnership with the Burlington Public Library.

We hope these images, as well the Feedback Notes and videoclips below are able to prove the creative joy and inspired connections that sprung to life after we meditated together, 24 of us (moms, dads, kids, grandparents and friends) in the nice and welcoming Alton Public Library space.

We see time and time again how everyone of any age is benefitting and gaining inner peace, then experiences the joy that feels like fun, when we introduce them to meditation and creativity the way we do it. 🙂

It also helps that our team is experienced and will make sure that everyone will “get there”, therefore even the most reluctant people (we mean the adults) end up trying and enjoying the whole experience!

Our 100 Seeds of Joy team tonight included: Isabelle, Kathleen, Andrew and Ioana

It was really nice to see how the children connected to our questions and were engaging from the very beginning in this experience; they sat next to us to play the “Give and Take” game, while their parents and grandparents started to get into it as well.

After the guided meditation when we learned how to listen to our body and feel that subtle energy that connects us to each other and helps us stay rooted to Earth, one Mom eagerly shared “I feel coolness” before anyone else. Obviously her inner child was fully awakened and was enjoying the activities as much as her own child. In fact one girl remembered that the pure energy might give a refreshing sensation of coolness so her creation was all about that!

Keep Your Cool — is the advice you get from Kids that Meditate first, and with their batteries refreshed, later they start to Rock and Roll their Creativity

You might want some proof, right? We have it in the Feedback collected from some of the parents as well from the kids

Of course, we received thanks and praise, from all participants during and especially around the time when their time with this workshop expired. What was really nice is how some parents took the time to write (next to their art work still in development stages) and provide such beautiful and detailed Feedback Notes. Much appreciated!

Let’s start going through the Feedback Notes

  • Excellent
  • Super fun
  • It was a nice engaging activity specially to connect with our kids and inner self, too
  • Very special
  • Hope there are more activities like this one
  • I liked the parent engagement piece

Keep Your Sunny Side Up – was another Advice from a Cool Kid that remembered that the Yoga state and Self-realization experience happens at the Crown Chakra right above the head

Let us tell you a Story about the Cool Canadian Kid and His Grandmother

We were grateful to witness how clouds were disappearing from everyone’s minds and hearts, as we were progressing through our 100 Seeds of Joy creative meditation workshop. Especially one grandmother was quite tensed around her grandchild.

Once she started listening to our advises and engaged in all activities, she completely relaxed and was all smiles, realizing that an overall positive transformation is in fact possible for everyone.

She told us: “Now he is completely calm. This workshop calmed him so well, this is wonderful, can I have a flyer? I will contact you.” In fact, the grandmother enjoyed her inner child, even dared to do her rock art and succeeded!

Both her and the boy became independent and self-sufficient, each one absorbed in their own creative universe.

The boy thanked us as he left the room and the grandmother apologized (with a beautiful happy smile!) that she did not leave any written feedback.

For us, to witness the joy and peace on everyone’s faces was the greatest satisfaction.

We were grateful!

You can feel the Effective Positiveness of our 100 Seeds of Joy Workshops from this Feedback:

“I can feel the freedom from noises”

“I can focus on silence.

I and my daughters had a wonderful experience.”

“Thank you for your kind words”

A Parent’s Conclusion was: “I am so Grateful that We had a Grateful Time”

It’s always a good feeling when we are Cultivators of Joy and Ambassadors for Meditation’s benefits for one’s own mental and emotional health, even more for our Society’s overall wellness

Take your time to go through the following feedback note received from a first timer with meditation.

The fact that a parents enjoys it and experiences the benefits of meditation while trying it as a family experience it elevates it from personal to collective with ripple effects of positiveness.

This was our First Time doing Meditation as a Family and it was So Much Fun!

Look at those rocks. When connected it’s interesting to see how the universe coordinated all the pictures. It all blends together so well all the little details.
