Let’s find out from Michael about the Sahaj Guru Game as he is introducing You to the concept of Self-Realization

   This past Tuesday, November 3^rd  2025, I presented at our weekly meditation class on the topic of the Sahasrara or “crown” chakra. 

As part of the Sahaja Yoga Guru games, this was a fun and engaging way to discuss the crown chakra and its many hidden qualities.

As the seventh and final chakra or energy center, this crown chakra rests at the top of the head at the fontanelle bone.  Symbolically, the fontanelle represents a fountain where the kundalini energy flows up from the base of the spine towards the crown and exits at the top of the head as 1000 lotus petals.

The ultimate goal towards Self-Realization or enlightenment is to raise this kundalini energy up the spine outwards from the crown.

              One of the articles I read by Shri Mataji explains how many of us are seekers of truth in this reality, and finding this truth is the ultimate purpose in this lifetime.

She states:

“If you identify yourself with Truth and with Reality your Sahasrara is absolutely open!”

In addition, the ultimate method to achieve this truth or realization is through the awakening of the Kundalini energy in a state of meditation or more specifically through Sahaja yoga meditation.

She also claims “Truth is Love and Love is Truth. Pure Love.”

We return to Michael’s story, after all he is our Sahaj Guru today, as he continues with his personal belief in the Sahaj ideals of pure knowledge

“I too believe the highest vibration state or frequency is that of love or authenticity which ties back to the truth (SAT).

This is how we can achieve higher states of consciousness and activate our true divinity. “

Ioana’s note: Michael’s realization / belief that is shared in the lines above is really what we know from “Sat Chit Ananda Rupam Shivo Ham Shivo Ham” mantra in Sanskrit language that we incorporate sometimes in our meditations at our classes; its meaning is, “Truth, Attention, Bliss – I am Shiva”. It refers to our divinity within – the Spirit that resides in our heart.

This is an excerpt from a speech about the Crown energy center, offered during an international Yoga Seminar on May 5th, 1985.

“Now, the Spirit resides inside the heart and after Sahaja Yoga its light spreads within us in seven layers from both the sides (i.e. from the Moon and Sun energy channels). That can happen only when one’s Sahasrara is open.

After realization, we work with the help of our Spirit.

The Spirit, before self-realization resides within the heart, it’s absolutely separate as a kshetrAgnya (witness in Sanskrit).

Its job: just to witness. But its light (Spirit’s Light) is not in our Attention (Chitta). It is separate from us. It is not in our attention.

After self-realization it comes into our Attention first. First it comes into the attention, and attention, as you know, is in the Void. After that, its light comes into the Truth, because with the entering of light into our brain (as the brain gets enlightened) we know the Truth. ‘Know’ doesn’t mean that we know through the intellect, but know in reality (sakshat). That, ‘this is the Truth’.

After that, its light is seen in the Heart. The heart becomes profound. The Heart starts expanding, it starts becoming vast. Its power of love starts increasing.

That’s why it’s called Sat-Chitta-Anand:  Sat, Chitta and Anand (Truth, Attention and Bliss).

The Truth within our brain, Attention within our dharma [innate religion on righteousness] and Joy within our Spirit. These start getting enlightened.“

Michael’s Sahaj Guru lesson resumes with the following Notes from him:

Once the kundalini energy flows up the spine, we balance our chakras as they become one single operating unit when flowing out above the crown.

              This was another point that resonated with me reading the articles and watching the Youtube videos presented by Shri Mataji.

The ultimate truth of our reality is that we are all One.

There is one divine, creative force or intelligent energy which explains the science and mechanics of universal creation. Some refer to it as God, Source or simply a higher power but it a metaphysical concept some of us will learn intuitively if we are meant to. I believe as part of this divine intelligence we can uncover clues and symbols to help guide us on our journey.

The Sahaj Guru Presentation on Sahasrara Chakra included Michael’s own Realization associated with a Numerology demonstration: the 144000 Number known in the Book of Revelations calculated based on Sahaja Yoga Meditation science – not knowing that Shri Mataji talked about it too!

              During the Guru game presentation, I went over the diagram of the energy system diagram and discussed the different petals associated with each chakra.

Each chakra, starting at the base has a specific number of petals and when combined we can reveal a sacred code which was discussed in the Bible and Book of Revelations among others.

The combined numbers of the first six chakras total 144, and when multiplied by the 1000 petal lotus at the crown chakra, give us a total of 144,000.

That’s my inspired “formula”:

Mooladhara chakra: 4 petals, also 4 as its subtle number;

Swadhisthana chakra: 6 petals; also 6 as its subtle number;

Nabhi chakra: 10 petals;also 10 as its subtle number;

Anahat chakra: 12 petals; also 12 as its subtle number;

Vishuddhi chakra: 16 petals; also 16 as its subtle number;

Total: 48 (for the first 5 chakras)

Agnya chakra: 2 petals and as it’s placed by the end of the lateral energy channels (Moon/Left and Rigth/Sun) being the entry/door to the Sahasrara chakra (1000 petals), in a way it gathers: 2 x 48 = 96 as this chakra’s subtle number.

Total subtle number for the first six chakras: 48 + 96 = 144 subtle number

For the last / seventh energy center, or Sahasrara chakra (“where we get the complete integration of all the seven chakras” and which is “made of a thousand petals”, says Shri Mataji) the formula applied was:

Total = 144 x 1,000 =144,000 subtle number

I believe numbers, especially in sacred texts, always hold multidimensional meaning.

While some scholars believe this number represents a specific number of “chosen ones” or people,

I believe it is a truth that is found within.

Shri Mataji spoke in Switzerland on July 9, 1994 during a Public Program:

“John’s Revelation is a very beautiful book which is much more than what it is in the Bible. And he has talked about the Gnostics who lived in those days and were tortured by the people who were supposed to be in charge of religion. So this is the knowledge we are talking about. We have to realize that our Creator was the greatest organizer and the centers that you see here, the seven centers were created within us during our evolutionary process.” 

In other Public Lectures, the Number mentioned in the Book of Revelations as well the Baptism were mentioned in relation with the Science of Sahaja Yoga Meditation applied to the process of Self-Realization and the Opening of the Crown Chakra

Shri Mataji spoke in Rome during a Public Program on April 29, 1982:

“First the thoughtless awareness is the state you achieve. That happens when Kundalini crosses this spot (i.e crown chakra).

When the thought rises from a point it goes up and comes down. We see the rising of the thought but not the falling of the thought and then another thought rises and again falls off. So either we are in the past or in the future.

In between these thoughts, there is a space and that space is the present, and we have to stay in this present.

In this present we are thoughtless but aware.

If you want to think you can think, but if you don’t want to think you need not think.

This state is your fort where no one can attack. All negative thoughts or thoughts of aggression do not, can not enter into this pure, holy area of present.

All the present moments are full of dynamism, every moment is full of joy and dynamism.

When the Kundalini touches the Spirit and crosses this fontanel area when you get your Real Baptism that time you feel the Spirit within yourself in your attention, that you become Collectively Conscious.

That means you can feel yourself and others on your fingertips. Now if somebody wants to know a particular person if he’s realized or not it’s very simple for a realized soul: he just puts his hand and thinks of the person and immediately he can feel whether he is realized or not.

Now for you to establish that collective consciousness you have to work in the collective. Means you have to feel the vibrations of others and you have to know your own vibrations.

You have to practice very diligently, and you’ll be surprised how scientific it is.

But where does lie the problem? One thing one has to know that the time is precarious and important and very serious. In the Bible, John in his Revelation (Book of revelations) has said, ‘only 144,000 people will be realized.’

Can you imagine what a number? I’m sure already I must have given realization to about 35,000 people already.

What about the rest of the world? Are they all going to be left out? But why? Only because of ego problem.

Ego makes you blind. I can not pamper your ego, I’m sorry. Nor am I harsh with you. I can persuade it to a point.

I want you to enjoy also and I hope that you will accept this invitation with love and take your realization.“

One might like to still listen to additional references to the 144,000 subtle number

“But as said in the Bible, that in the kingdom of god, only 144,000 will be entering”

said Shri Mataji in 1988 on April 29th when She was invited to speak during a Public Event held at the United Nations Headquarters in the USA. Of course, we know that the “kingdom of god” within is the Crown Chakra.

Let’s get closer to look inside the Article’s Wisdom and Loving Messages of Hope and Integration

Even jokingly, yet Shri Mataji with a motherly concern mentioned to people the following advises on May 2nd, 1982:

“So, this time is the most important time and all human beings, all those who want their Realization, should take it.

John’s Revelation, he has limited it so much; he says only 144,000 people are going to be realized.

Imagine what a limited number it is! Better enlist yourself fast!”

Excerpt from the Talk offered in Brussels, Belgium during a Public Program on October 7, 1987

“John (in his Revelations) has said that there will be only 144000 people saved.

I don’t think so, there have to be many many more!

But one must remember that there is a force which is raising you upwards and there is force which is putting you down towards hell. But you have the freedom to choose the heaven or the hell.
That is the only thing one cannot suppress, your freedom.

Either you take to your freedom in a proper way or in an improper way is your own right.

And there, Sahaja Yoga is helpless. I am sorry I don’t know the Flemish language and all that and though I know quite many languages and I wish I had some knowledge of your language also, maybe I may pick-up later on.

But in any case, there is no need to have any language when it is love. Even a little baby which is born doesn’t know any language knows the mother very well. The only request is that as I love you, you have to love yourself.

And open your heart and trust yourself. And believe that all this glory is within you. Just about to manifest.

We reached to Michael’s last words on His Introspective Experience with the Sahaj Guru Game that was Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)- themed, Let’s Pay Attention to him until the Very End:

Just like Jesus and Shri Mataji were divine avatars who incarnated to bring us love and divine truth,

I too believe a wave of souls have come to earth at this time to carry this frequency in order to help humanity evolve to its highest potential.

Mysteries of the Bible and others sacred texts like the 144,000 code, require a mystical mind to decode them.

Divine avatars such as Jesus came here to teach us divine love and truth, and we are here to carry that message to humanity. This can be achieved when we have a kundalini awakening and work towards becoming self-realized souls.

We are the modern day gurus here to change the world with our Light and Love!

In fact Michael’s first Volunteering Activity with Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of Halton Volunteers happened on June 20, 2025 during the Flag Rising Ceremony in front of the Burlington City Hall when the Team was honored for their 20 Years of Documented Activity beaming Positivity in the Community
