Let’s Enjoy the 1st Collection of Joys collected from the Inner Lights Festival 2023
There is so much to share, treasures after treasures, offered and received during The Festival of Inner Lights 2023. We are rushing to bring the first glimpses, while the actual recording of the Presentation as well the artistic performances, the Meditation for Mother Earth and the multiple explosions of Joy manifested through collective dancing will be shared later accompanied by personal experiences, even little miracles collected from the organizing team as well from the participants.

Video#1: Romanian Christmas Carol interpreted by Sahaja Yogis from Montreal, Burlington and Richmond Hill – Only three of them are Romanians but can you really make the difference?!
We had three Romanians that never practiced this Christmas Carol together: Ioana, Sorin and Daiana, as we live in different cities across the GTA (Great Toronto Area). Who joined them?! Ozgur and Ozlem came from Quebec and have Turkish roots and Ekaterina (guitar) lives in Montreal and speaks Ukrainian, not Romanian either. Here, in this very moment is when we all sang it together; definitely our inner lights took over so we can share with everyone the beauty of the “Domn Domn sa’naltam” which has really complicated pronunciation. It is a beloved Romanian Christmas carol, some lyrics were adapted by Sahaja yogis and Shri Mataji enjoyed it.

This group rehearsed together only minutes before the festival. That was such a pure desire to have The Inner Lights’ Welcoming Dance as inclusive and diverse as possible, because it should express the Reality that there is an Inner Light in each and everyone around the world. Many of us were wearing traditional clothes connecting us to our respective backgrounds as most of us are immigrants.
We wanted to show that the World has found a safe home here in Canada and we want to show our love and respect towards each other’s inner light, honoring and welcoming everyone to our 2nd Public Program this year in Burlington that celebrated the 100th Birthday Anniversary of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi — our beloved spiritual teacher — and the 150th anniversary of our beloved City of Burlington. We hope you’ve enjoyed the love and vibrations from these video-clips.

Clear moments of thoughtlessness and bliss were felt at the program. There was a flow of fresh energy among us. Every moment was a pearl I did not take for granted. How so many came together from different backgrounds made my soul sing! It was an all inclusive and celebratory event full of important officials, poets, singers, dancers, artists, writers, brothers annd sisters from Montreal performing and expressing their love for community. Thanks to the teachings of esteemed founder Shri Mataji, we have come together to spread light and make this world a peaceful and blissful existence as much as possible. It was the definition of a joyful and meaningful afternoon to showcase talent and experience meditation. The art truly stopped our thoughts and transported us into a higher awareness. Go 100 Seeds of Joy, Go! Bravo!!! Connect the dots! Connect our spirit! Heal the world.
My heart and mind are filled with awe reading and watching the videos. The love, compassion and togetherness is so strong. I love it!!
I join the meditations on line and whenver i can get a ride i love to join all sessions in person. Becasue i was not able to come this time in person, I am so grateful the team in Halton/Burlington has recorded it. Cannot tell you enough how grateful l I am. What a team.
Can so much feel the reverence for Shri Mataji., Her teachings fell my heart with sheer joy and gratitude.

What awe!!
Festival of Inner Light program offered at the beautiful location of Art Gallery of Burlington, right across lake Ontario, embarked the journey of inner light, inner joy, and inner transformation. It successfully took away our attention from war, violence, mental distress to a calm, peaceful, and joyful state. It reminded us that we are all one, we are a pure spirit and nothing else. We had dance, music, art, poems, speeches, and much more that took us to a thoughtless meditative state. The person beside me shared her experience that though she felt warm sensations on her palm, she was thoughtless. This was the first time she attended our public program and she loved it. Kudos to the whole team for putting their hearts and soul into this phenomenal program for the community.
Such a strong collectivity more power to you all
On a vibrant atmosphere, the Festival of Inner Lights covered multiple aspects like Introspection, Meditation and Vibrations.
With a wide range of art forms including music, dance, poetry and visual arts, multiple artists from different cultural backgrounds embarked the audience around the globe, from East to West, and made us all to be part of the whole! During the inner journey experience, lots of peace and contemplation about affection was expressed at the event, engaging us to salute the spirit/soul from each of us by the end of the meditation. Personally, I do not have any words about myself, still on a serene mood, grateful of being there! 🙂

Watching and reading about this Festival of Inner Light, I spontaneously found myself in a deep thoughtless awareness state and was penetrated with joy, and after reading about Lavinia’s experience and seeing the beautiful pictures of the morning sky of Burlington I found myself in a deep silence.

It is a great blessing to be part of Sahajayoga meditation and be able to witness a beautiful program organized with pure love and energy for the peace and togetherness in our world. It carried the light and vision of our founder and guru – Shri Mataji (mother) NirmalaDevi. It filled our hearts with joy, love, collectivity, music and serenity. It touched on all elements of the being we all are made up of.
