Are you ready for a second cup of dancing energy? First, we meditated!
Now you know that on Sunday March 23, 2025 we offered a Joyous and Free Community Event:
Why was this Event special? We are sharing Video-clips, Photos and Feedback
March is a special month, and our team of Halton volunteers from Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network were busy all month long in offering all kinds of free events and wellness workshops, all around the Halton region (and beyond!), as part of our 100 Seeds of Joy community initiative.
However, March 21st, is always special because we celebrate the birthday anniversary of the founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation – Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, who was born on the same day when Nowruz (the Persian New Year) as well the Spring Equinox are celebrated. In fact, Shri Mataji was born also at precisely 12pm, in the middle of India. One would say that from the very start, the “equilibrium” and that “inner balance” represented the foundation of her life – as written by the stars.
The Event ended up becoming a rather large gathering of people from many backgrounds!

Make sure to get to the end of this article and Dance with us on more fantastic Azeri Rhythms!
It was nice to see our main 100 Seeds of Joy events scheduled for March being shared in the local media and by our community partners too in their newsletters!
We shared just a few excerpts from the media about our event (before and after)

Stunning! ❤️
I am so grateful that I got the chance to attend this wonderful event marking the birthday of Shri Mataji and the Iranian New Year (Nowruz)! We learned about the profound spiritual significance of the spring equinox in many cultures, meditated collectively, danced together, and enjoyed a delicious, multi-cultural potluck. My heart was full of joy!
It was just wonderful to celebrate Nowruz with our Iranian brothers and sisters along with others from different nationalities. There was so much love, laughter, and serenity in the room. The person who was sitting beside me was an Iranian joining first time. She left with so much joy, gratitude and big smiles by the end. Our nabhis were well fed and the collective Iranian dance was like a cherry on top of the dessert. I don’t remember last time when I laughed so much. I encourage everyone to join these events to get rid of their depression, stress, anxiety, and enjoy the thoughtless awareness.
I am so happy to be watching all this
And yes I am dancing!! The joy, fiun and vibrations are so strong !! So wonderful!!! What a tremendous celebration!!
Love it all!! Will continue dancing and smiling!!
