Life De-Stress for Youth – with Sahaja Yoga Meditation” had been invited to open this amazing Youth event prepared by Youth for Youth. We are honored to contribute and we are so much looking forward to meeting these amazing young ambassadors that are passionate about improving their lives!  Besides the chakra workshop and introducing everyone present to this gathering to the benefits of meditation practice we are happy to bring in more talent from the Artistic field. Two musicians  that are also sahaja yogis will perform Persian Classical music  (vocals and instruments) – a rare treat even for the connoisseurs!

The MADScatter is a one-day event composed of three elements–an Organization Fair, an Open Mic session as well as a Dance.

Through the Organization Fair, youth will be able to connect to their community,be being able to interact directly with organizations that support mental health, volunteerism and much more. They will be completing a “Passport Activity” with the organizations present and at the same time gaining volunteer hours and a chance to win great prizes. The Open Mic session will be an opportunity for youth in the community to be able to perform on topics related to mental health awareness through their medium (singing, poetry, dance, drama etc). The event will then transition into a dance for the youth present to be able to enjoy with their friends.

One main goal for the event is to diminish the stigma around mental health by raising awareness and providing information and insight surrounding how it may affect any individual.

In addition to attending this awesome event, all youth who come out and participate will receive a ChangeTheWorld volunteer recognition certificate signed by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade!

The ChangeTheWorld – Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is a campaign for youth to get involved in their community.

From April 12 to May 24, 2015 all across Ontario youth between the ages of 14 to 18 are invited to get involved in local community events (including our Mad-Scatter event!). We thank Ramneek who invited our youth  team!! GREAT JOB for the Step Up Youth Volunteer Ambassadors (SUYVA) program – that is a Volunteer MBC’s youth ambassador program managed completely by a dynamic group of high school students.

Spread the news: The series of classes – unique in their format and intention.
