What TEENS have to say about CREATIVE MEDITATION?

You might wonder: “What TEENS have to say about the CREATIVE MEDITATIONS offered by the SYMN Team?” We have the Right Answers!

Good News: our Youth Wellness Initiative restarted with the starting of the School Year!

This year we (SYMN = Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of Halton volunteers) focused profoundly on the Youth Wellness Initiative without letting go of the Seniors Wellness Initiative and our (100 Seeds of Joy) Team’s efforts were rewarded the way we wanted: with Joy & Serenity spreading across the Halton region and beyond!

This Article is Dedicated to the most recent “Creative Meditation for TEENS” program we offered in Burlington in collaboration with a community partner

You can help spreading the GOOD NEWS about such programs as we know that many teens (students or not) would benefit from them. We have such a good trail of 100% positive results and with the increased volume of the “100 Seeds of Joy” workshops we cannot keep up sharing all the “fruits of our actions“.

However, this most recent program was so rewarding because we had Teens joining from two of Halton region’s cities, and the meditation section of the program was quite in-depth; the students learned about useful tips & knowledge from yoga’s specific wellness system.

We were impressed by the quality of the young people that joined our program. This time we had from grade 9 to grade 10; in the previous programs came from the older grades. We noticed how very shy students were blossoming in front of us within the one hour of the 100 Seeds of Joy program that taught them how to meditate, relax and unleash their creativity.

You must pay Close Attention to the TEENS’ FEEDBACK Notes about their experience with SAHAJA YOGA MEDITATION & Enjoy their Amazing Creations!

Let’s provide you with the impressions collected from some of the Teens that participated in last Sunday’s FREE Art & Wellness (100 Seeds of Joy) workshop.

Btw, most of them were Burlington students, but we had also the Milton city being represented!

Go Halton!

” I LOVED THE MEDITATION.

IT REALLY HELPED WITH MY THOUGHTS!

I DREW A PERSON AND ALL OF THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF ENERGY”

Zynah (Grade 8) wrote:

“My experience here was lovely, and gave me some much-needed meditation to help me relax.

It encouraged me to practice more meditation and to be more open-spirited!

Tisya (Grade 8) wrote:

“The meditation was amazing.

The meditation helped me because I didn’t get frustrated with my failed attempts, and took my time.”

Mishara (Grade 5) wrote:

“It was very calming. I loved it very much.”

Nila (Grade 8) wrote:

“The meditation was a new experience for me but it was good.

The reason why I made this art is because this art represents to go with the flow.

The sun represents nature and the boardwalk represents the path.”

How Cool are these Feedback Notes?! Btw, the vast majority of the young participants NEVER meditated before nor did they know anything about Yoga or other forms of wellness!

Everyone: if this isn’t impressive, what else is?! Most of the participants were very shy before the meditation; our experienced team guided them into the intro to the subtle energy system and some simple breathing exercises.

Yes, they also learned new things and simple tips that can help them navigate stressful situations.

In fact we interviewed them by the end, we will share the video once is ready, that’s how we will also individually showcase their artistic creation.

Even our SYMN instructors could not resist Not unleashing their creative Inner Child and they also played with art crafting and provided their notes. We include Everyone, so Enjoy theirs too!

“My transformation to the awakening of my pure spirit!” (Seraphine Sophie)

“It was so inspiring to meditate with everyone! It helped me a lot in the creative activity. I was able to let go of expectations, be in the moment & connect with the creativity within me.”
