Let’s Enjoy Burlington’s First Winter Day with Warm Experiences from the Hamsa Chakra Sahaja Yoga Meditation Seminar for the Halton region and beyond

Ioana’s pink roses braving the first day of winter 2025. Later that day they warmed up during the Hamsa meditation seminar.

We invite You to try and Be with us on Burlington’s First Winter Day in 2025

Burlington’s First Winter Day that occurred on Sunday, Nov 9th, seemed to take us all by surprise!

The day before, on Saturday November 8th, 2025, we enjoyed a gentle sunny day of Canadian Fall.

In fact the weekend started in a hectic rhythm, because on Saturday a team of two Cultivators of Joy from our Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of volunteers had the honor to be invited as a Speaker and guest to the amazing Annual Congress 2025 for the Halton Non-Profit organizations.

It was truly an honor to be there and actively participate by offering the Meditation activity, as well attending some of the powerful learning sessions offered by other Special Guests.

We will share more in a separate article – not to be missed!

What about the much promised Hamsa Chakra Seminar on Burlington’s First Day of Winter?

We had to mention that on Sunday morning, the City woke up under a white blanket.

Many trees still have all their leaves, colored in yellow, and orange and brown or any colour other than green, they were still thriving up high closer to the sky!

Imagine to see them all under the heavy white spell of this first day of winter.

Look at my roses that morning! What you see in the photo, including some small promising buds, I collected them all and brought them to the seminar; you will see their transformation soon!

We had announced the Hamsa Chakra Meditation Seminar just a few days earlier for our regular and keen participants to the free Halton sahaj yoga meditation classes; the enthusiasm was real but on Sunday morning we had a few cancellations due to the ‘surprising weather’.

Eventually ten strong participants, representing four cities from across Halton and beyond made it to the Seminar and we all felt it was like the first day of Christmas!

We started our Halton Sahaja Yoga Meditation Seminar with a powerful meditation on the Root Chakra and its governing principles.

We learned about Shri Ganesha and Shri Kartikeya principles with their very specific roles in our tree of life – chakra chart within.

The meditation flow was augmented by mantra recitations and connection to our innate child; the collective connection took us to Australia and New Zealand, ultimately to all humanity; we were praying for the beautiful qualities that Mother Earth can grant us, to be bestowed to all as One.

The sudden transition from a Golden Autumn to a White Winter was Meditative in itself.

Everyone’s generous contribution to the Potluck was re-distributed as everyone enjoyed a diversity of goodies to be brought home to our families; our Joy and Satisfaction were further distributed!

Enjoy the Warm Feedback in a Beautiful Appreciation Note received this morning from a participant that joined from Oakville. You have below the text as well the screenshot of the original message.

“Yesterday’s Hamsa seminar was truly wonderful.
I am so grateful for my Sahaja family and for all the love, care, and support you have shown me.

My dear sister Ioana, you were right about flowing with the energy.

You knew exactly what everyone needed. You shared your knowledge, your love, and your vibration with such generosity, and I appreciate you deeply for that.

Even writing this, I feel emotional.

I was never shown this kind of kindness before, and finding all of you at this stage of my life feels like a blessing.

I am grateful that the divine placed you on my path, and me on yours.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

What do You Feel Right now?! Can you appreciate the Special Warmth of Burlington’s First Day of Winter as experienced in this Togetherness of our Cultivators of Joy?!

We also tried the Ghee Solution for blocked Sinuses as well for maintaining the Hamsa chakra!

In fact, we enjoyed this “Sahaj Togetherness” in many meaningful ways; I’ll invite other participants to provide their feedback too.

This posting only tried to share with you the Special Warmth and Magic we experienced on the First Day of Winter.

We talked about Cats and Dogs (and shared profound and funny personal stories) like the ones you can find in the following two articles.

(1) Tales of Cats and Dogs that Love to Meditate

(2) Meditate with Maxi Golden Retriever on The First Snow we explored on New Year’s First Day

But, please return to this posting we have more to share and recommend.

Even though the Photos do not “show everything”, at least we made a note of our wonderful time.

The roses that you see in the image below are the “frozen ones” collected in the morning: they opened up and appeared expanding into chakra-likening during the seminar.

We had candles lit up around the house, even at the table where we enjoyed a real feast with many courses; Yes it felt like an early Christmas day.

We also started preparing for the FREE Festival of Inner Lights and Welcoming the very special guest singer: Rachelle Jeanty who will be joining us from Montreal on November 25! Stay tuned!

Every collective meditation session is special for me in its own way…but meditating on the day of Burlington’s first snow of the season was an experience beyond words…the vibrations felt powerful and nurturing! The collective energy of the group was remarkably positive and there was a sense of inexplicable joy.

It felt like Mother Kundalini herself smiling at this bunch of Sahaja Seekers.

Shri Mataji’s Talk on Oath to Ganesha and the power of innocence in our being…It was like Mataji talking to me directly…telling me to be innocent…guiding me away from any darkness within to light of truth!

There were moments where I surprised with my emotional flow…so spontaneous, so pure.

I am blessed to have been with my loving Sahaja Family on this auspicious day as we witnessed precious snowflakes quietly covering mother earth with such care!

It was a wonderful start of winter being together meditating as a collective. We shared our winter stories and how it is special to us. The meditation was deep and soothing. Always grateful when we are together. The potluck was superb!
