Let’s Find out Together, Why Earth Day was Bright and Meaningful this year?!
The Beauty of Mother Earth can be explored starting from our front yard. See these photos? They are proof that we don’t have enough of watching our porch flowers’ mysterious beauty.

Something Special about Earth Day 2026 was that the CDH’s Halton Volunteer Awards for Burlington were scheduled on that day and we had Two Cultivators of Joy that joined the Event!
The first time when we were invited to participate to this annual event we had the amazing honour to receive the Halton Impacts Award 2024 for Burlington and we were quite overwhelmed to be in such amazing company in the room filled up with volunteers and organizations from all across Halton region that do good for the community. We were truly honored!
We posted a detailed article about that amazing experience, you can find it here, accompanied by awakening “hero quotes“. 🙂 because for our 100 Seeds of Joy team, when we look around at fellow volunteers, we see “today’s heroes”.
This year, as the event fell on the Earth Day, somehow everything worked together, starting with Heather’s opening of the event, sharing her own “Aha” moment when she understood more about the residential schools and her personal desire to keep learning and being part of the Reconciliation process; her personal experience and expressed desire resonated to mine.

A relevant and heartfelt acceptance speech for the Halton Volunteer Impact Award 2026 from the Indigenous representative, White Eagle Stonefish, (short video-clip) is here.
It was wonderful to witness Volunteers celebrating Volunteers – their own colleagues and friends, from the same team as well from other organizations, we were able to get to know the larger family of Halton Volunteers.

Isabelle and Ioana enjoyed also each other company and the opportunity to share with other volunteering teams about our dynamic Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network of Cultivators of Joy!

Our 100 Seeds of Joy also shared about our Public and FREE Meditations for Earth – and the recent seminar in Burlington that was greatly appreciated by all participants.
Brief Intermezzo – as it pertains to a Special Public Seminar dedicated to Earth Day 2026
Before our 100 Seeds of Joy – Earth Day public program started on Sunday, April 19, we witnessed large snowflakes falling in rapid waves, seemingly the Winter changed its mind and wanted to return. By the end of the program the Sun was shining and Spring was totally in charge. It felt like Mother Earth wanted to display Her Superpowers as well, that She was pleased with our Collective Meditation dedicated to Her!
We have only two photos to share from that event – from indoors and outdoors. Our memories matter more!
Make sure that You reach to the End of this Article as we have Three video-clips You might Not want to miss!
You are in for a visual treat, because the Earth Day 2026 revealed to us so much beauty to enjoy all around is. In fact, on that day, our little family started the day with a walk in the neighbourhood, and we ended the outdoors adventures with an evening walk by the lake. It was enchanting, especially that the lake’s waters turned into a soft pink, and the art exhibition displayed all around the Spencer Smith Park had a few pieces that were perfect for that evening!
Accept my Invitation to Meditate and become Thoughtless while Watching the Serene Photos of that Day – Let me Share with You my Meditative State of those Moments:

I hope you’ve enjoyed this Meditation and You can Absorb some More Information and Beauty
Instead of providing a quote of wisdom related to Mother Earth in the middle of the article, maybe it was worth for you to discover our Lake Ontario that offers us here in Burlington, so much artistic beauty that caresses our eyes and souls.
We have more to share with you, including articles that provide you Subtle Information about Mother Earth, and also videoclips, and even more photos, including One Photo, that I personally treasure because it captured such a unique moment and even a “timestamp” that was created by the flight of a seagull. Believe it or not, I took this photo on the same day, just when we left the Costco store.
