All of You seem like Roses, now Ascend!

This article is dedicated to the beautiful roses encountered during our short visit to Romania, this June of 2022.

Their fragrance and palpable beauty found their subtle voice through the perennial wisdom shared by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – the founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation.

A few quotes are shared below, joining the Bouquet of Roses and personal treasures gathered during our 3 weeks visit to Romania – the land of our roots. Enjoy the “rose-trip”!

But you keep cutting yourselves with your own scissors. How will you get the Joy then?! You are your own enemy. But aren’t you all sitting here in front of me because you are something special?! How many times do I need to tell that to you now?!

Think of a Rose Tree also as a Sahaja

“See now, this flower is here. Just now, I am thinking about this flower. Now, look at this. It is so fantastic. We take it for granted otherwise.

See, it was grown on a rose tree. Think of the Rose Tree also as a Sahaja. Just think.

Can you think how a rose tree was created?

Out of what seed? You know what is the seed? It is just a small little seed. Very small. Out of that, this is created.

But THIS one [ the Sahaja Rose Tree ] especially was NOT created out of the Seed but out of the Stem.“

“Just imagine. This was done by human beings [through the power of awakening of the Kundalini energy granted by Shri Mataji to Sahaja Yogis.]

They got the power to create a Rose Tree out of a Stem. It is a living thing they have done.

So, a special power human beings have. That, certain things, they can do that. They can transplant living things from living things. Living from living. Though they cannot create living.

Now the Sahaja Yogis can give the living process of evolution in their hands. “

“With their fingers. With their mind. With their chitta (is the attention).

Now, where are we? Our attention has to be in the centre. In the present moment.

Now here is a Rose. You are watching this. Now, what is the best way of watching this?! “

To get completely out of it is to be in thoughtless awareness.

So what happens? You are thoughtless. Now all the joy of creating it is inside this.

All the truth that is this Rose is, is inside it.“

“As soon as you become Thoughtless, the whole thing goes into you as the Principle, as the Essence of it.

And you feel that joy, as the essence of it. No thought about it. Nothing. But just the joy. Just the joy.”

Be Rose-like, the Heart should be Soft

“Where I was born there was a person. He was called Laxminarayan, a very rich man. You can call him Laxmipati. Extremely unassuming, very simple, His nature was like that of a child.”

“Coral like creature also finds a place in the lotus.

If you come across one, please let me know. Very difficult. “

Kundalini is Your Mother and We are more delicate than Roses

“Kundalini [subtle built-in life force energy] is your [spiritual] Mother.

Do you understand what Mother means?! What a pure attribute there is, such a pious relation.“

Everyone has his/her own exclusive Mother. [Kundalini]

To awaken that Kundalini, you invoke all filthy practices. If you misbehave with your mother, it is indeed a kind of an abuse. At least every Indian should know how the Kundalini will be awakened if SHE is our Mother.

How God has created us in a very special way, transformed us from an amoeba to a human being!”

See how fast this Earth rotates, we don’t even get to know.

The way it is taking care of us, we are more delicate than Roses. “

“Would that Divine place anything within us awakening which would harm us?! Why such orthodox thoughts.

This is indeed an era of absurdity. Blind-faith and propaganda in the name of Kabir, Nanak, Tukaram, Gyaneshwar etc. Whoever reinstated that blind faith does not mean faith in the divine, was crucified. In this very country, those people were traumatized. Sadly, even today, we like people who bring in a kind of circus, befool you, take money from you. Because if Shri Mataji says, “What will you give me, my son? I am, after all, your Mother. So, don’t do this!” then you no longer like Shri Mataji!

But if you can pay somebody a reasonable amount, your ego also gets satisfied, hence you like such people.

Such people will very nicely take your ego on a pleasure trip, dupe you all for 30-40 crores and abscond! Now if you like being befooled, carry on. At least do not blame the Divine for this nuisance, this blame totally falls on the human beings, especially Indians. Just where has their attention gone? Where is the attention of the Indians? It seemed to be in place earlier. There was slavery, those chains of oppression had to be broken.

There is no slavery now, if only our attention stayed in place.

My attention remained on 1-2 people. They used to work hard, attain their Spirit.“

“You must pay attention to our lost spiritual legacies, think about the powers that reside in our bodies, the powers that we know are the divine powers, we must recognize them.”

Impress through Your Fragrance, like a Rose

“Shri Mataji: You see, when a Sahaja Yogi speaks – even a little [yogini] girl like Anupama, people are amazed: ‘How does she talk all this ?!’ Every sentence that you speak has that sparkle, they won’t know, you need not say.

If there is a beautiful Rose, somewhere hidden, you know it because it smells! You know the fragrance is there!

“They will know, because it is something great. 🙂 You need not say you are Sahaja Yogis.“

“By saying that [‘we are sahaja yogis’] we have achieved nothing with this horrible media.

So let us go in another way. You see, if you talk of the flower, nothing works out. You talk of fragrance.

By flower, they are not impressed, so better let them have Your fragrance.

Shri Mother looks at a baby and says: “This is another one who can impress, quite a lot.” 🙂

Dante’s Divine Rose in Paradiso: the Rose of Sahasrara Chakra and the Real Baptism

“There have been many other people who have been realized souls in different parts of the country at different times who have shown that they are something – very superior people. Now your hands start speaking. You don’t speak. Your hands speak. Your deeds speak. In Italy, Dante has written about this. He has written about the last Rose in the Sahasrara [the 7th energy centre known as the Crown Chakra that is the Paradise within] as the ‘Divine Rose.’

“That same thing is within you and it has to just open out and once you get this opening of the fontanel bone area and you get your ‘real baptism’, not artificial. It is the living process of the living energy of evolution. And for the living thing, you do not have to pay money. How much money do we pay to the Mother Earth for sprouting the seed? She changes the flowers into fruits. How much money do we pay her?”

“Also, you cannot put any effort into it. It is so spontaneous, ‘Sahaja’.

Saha means ‘with’ and ja means ‘born with you’, Sahaja is ‘within you’.

Now, this ‘Spontaneity’ we do not understand.”

“We think that we have to do something about it to become a spiritual personality. Many people in the West, I don’t know why, they think that, we have to suffer to become a spiritual personality.”

Note: “vernal Sun” represents the time at which the sun crosses the plane of the equator towards the relevant hemisphere, making day and night of equal length. It occurs about March 21st in the N hemisphere (Sept 23 in the S hemisphere) 

Your faces look like Roses

“So, this Spirit is the one, which you see burning at the end of your Kundalini – on top of your Sahasrara.

And you have seen the photograph, on top of your Sahasrara you see the beautiful flame burning. You have seen that photograph! It’s the proof that now you are all the lights, and that you have to give lights to others. You have to help people. Now, all your faces look like Roses, anybody can see you and can make out that you are something special people. You are not like ordinary people who look so miserable.”

“And when you sing in that style also, you are singing God’s sake, in every style, whatever you sing, which was once upon a time was regarded as anti-God singing becomes something great. So now the light of Sahaja Yoga has kindled within you all these small, small lights, which are going to enlighten the path for humanity, for their emancipation. So responsibilities of Sahaja Yogis are great. They should get over all these limitations, like the light has got over all the limitations and spread all over. “

Personal note#1:

We were mesmerized by these roses that were sharing a visually striking warm inner glow with their softness expanded by the gentle cool breeze caressing the Rose Garden. Their vivant flame-like colours seem to both radiate a cozy homey light and anoint us all with a honey-like mellow balm for mind, body and soul. Watch them here.

Personal note#2:

We were blessed to be at Casa Tudor – not short of a “Rose Heaven”. The hosts were responsible like busy bees, lovingly welcoming and nurturing enlightened people – yogis coming from all across Romania, as well from Ukraine, Italy, Hungary and Canada. The seminar lasted for a weekend but we carried back home memories to last a lifetime. Thank You!
