(music video with World Renown Burlington Band) Sahaja Yoga on Canada Day – ‘Burlington Teen Tour Band’

Canada’s oldest and largest youth marching band (!!!)
(BE SURPRISED!) LIVE PERFORMANCE on Burlington’s Waterfront on CANADA DAY – 2014

We hope you had enjoyed Shulin’s video  – she actually had filmed this amazing band literally “in action” – the energy was incredible, we all felt so proud to be Canadians and so grateful to live in this amazing country! Another memorable moment was our discussion with a group of Native Indian story tellers on the porch of he Joseph Brant Museums –  we hope to reconnect soon with them as we share similar views on spirituality and connection with Mother Earth.

We also had found to be incredibly symbolical the visit made by the (impersonated :-)) first prim minister of Canada, Sir John Alexander Macdonald (11 January 1815 – 6 June 1891), and one of Canada’s Fathers of Confederation had visited our sahaja yoga booth and had shown keen interest in  meditation; in fact he had received a full chakra workshop that he declared that he thoroughly enjoyed it and he had felt the vibrations clearly in his hands. He (the talented actor) had asked for the address of a sahaja yoga class in Toronto so he may join it there!

As a dominant figure of Canadian Confederation, Sir John Alexander Macdonald had a political career which spanned almost half a century and had served 19 years as Canadian Prime Minister  – so kindly he agreed to be in a ‘sahaj family picture’ with our group, on that beautiful day of the Strawberry Festival. Click to enlarge the photos so you can feel the perfect happiness emanating from our pure bond of unity, on a spiritual and human level.

Ahh what a fun day that was 🙂 I very much enjoyed being there, celebrating Canada Day by spreading vibrations with my brothers and sisters!

The video is very well put together also, well done Shulin (as usual)! Such a shame I missed the band in person, glad I could see it still, though, very beautiful 🙂

I totally felt the vibes from the video as the Burlington Teen Tour band played valiantly…of course we know that the “heart” chakra beats like a drum…and opens us up so we can enjoy life with a full, receiving, pure heart…that helps us see people from the heart…an enlightened perspective as our mind can put people in boxes based on our conditions…so the role of the drum in the band does that!

And all together, each instrument sounds out like an “announcement” opening up our “vishuddhi” chakra and even felt through my guru principle…where we feel the gut feeling inside…that something very good emits from the music the band produces…it stops our thoughts in our tracks…so we can enjoy the present moment…and in that space between the thoughts…we feel better! and that feeling expands to make us happy!

Then there is the inspired young student yogini film maker Shulin, and more layers of vibrations from Sahaja Yoga volunteers who help others to feel the happiness that stems from within…and we have ourselves a beautiful article that emits a positive force.

Also so happy that we are all getting connected in a natural way with Native Indian Storytellers…there are so many things to share and grow from in our exchange and the kinship we feel with six nations peoples of Canada. I feel their purity and their affinity for what is just and in tune with nature. Thank you I really enjoyed.
