Community Feedback

oakville's organic farmers market

The Oakville Organic Farmers’ Market has hosted many special events over the past 2 seasons but without question,  Sahaja Yoga organized the most colourful and exciting event in 2008. Rarely do we see the community feel as welcomed to participate in the variety of activities, as those hosted by your group. From the beautiful music performed by the spectacularly costumed singers and musicians, to the meditation, food and art, on that Saturday the market square was transformed and took us to another place and time. A number of people from India who now make Oakville their home commented on how they felt like they were home again! The customers, farmers and vendors were thrilled with the generous effort that the Sahaja Yoga members went to in creating such a beautiful event. Seeing people from all walks of life and ages taking part in the activities that day is proof that universal transformation is within us all. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful and giving group in Halton.

Congratulations on such an inviting looking new web site. We wish you continued success and look forward to working together again in 2009.

Namaste

burlington SNAP MagazineAbout three years ago I was drawn to a sahaja yoga class to learn about yet another spiritual practice. I have found there are many practices and many perplexing questions. Sahaja Yoga, is the “one” that speaks the clearest answers to these questions, without dogma. I have found Sahaja yoga is a direct path to inner peace, encouraging me to practice letting go of constant mental seeking. I have been able to be more present and feel the flow of loving energy in life. Being introduced to Sahaja Yoga and meeting Ioana Popa has resonated with me deeply, providing the gift of higher awareness and connection to a practice and with people that have made a significant difference in my life.
