Please consider this article as a precious Easter Basket that is offering you the Subtle Key to the Easter Eggs’ mystery, accompanied by two special versions of Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic and Swahili

Aramaic Lord’s Prayer

O cosmic birther of all radiance and vibration!

Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your presence can abide.

Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of our mission.

Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire.

Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish.

Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us,

as we release others from the entanglements of past mistakes.

Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose,

but Illuminate the opportunities of the Present Moment.

For you are the ground and the fruitful vision,

The Birth Power and the Fulfillment,

and All is gathered and made whole once again

This gem of a translation directly from the Aramaic into English (rather than from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English) by Mark Hathaway was published in The Cygnus Review 2003 Issue 3; of course there are many versions of the Lord’s Prayer and its essence that speaks to our heart directly from Jesus is Forgiveness; however this version is less known and it has many sahaj connections so here it is :

(Amazing MUSIC) The Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic

– Vimala (singer and sahaja yogini from England)

Did you know?! The Lord’s Prayer is the most powerful mantra for Agnya chakra (in sahaja yoga meditation) and this Aramaic version of Lord’s Prayer comprises key sahaj elements related to yoga.

In some of the  Christian traditions the eggs are boiled and painted in a variety of colors and on Easter Sunday the meals start by knocking and breaking the colored eggs and this custom is done with the loud announcement : “Jesus Christ is resurrected!”. There is almost like a “contest” of knocking eggs and who breaks the most eggs that belong to others is declared “the winner”.

Let’s reveal the Subtle Key to the Easter Eggs while exploring more on this theme: “Easter Eggs – Traditions and Symbolism“. You may observe that it’s always about life and death or while going even deeper in the pagan traditions the egg is associated with the spring fertility rituals. So let’s start sharing the Sahaj perspective on this interesting theme, by diving into the pure and sacred knowledge related to the Tree of Life that lies within us, where the chakras (the subtle energy centers) are the fruits that nurture our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual layers of our being. Shri Mataji’s famous quote:

“Birds don’t identify themselves with the Eggs

and settle down in one place.

… They Fly.”

The Subtle Key to the Easter Eggs lies within.

You might know that the 6th energy centre, Agnya chakra, is known as The Third Eye. According to the sahaj knowledge about the subtle system of energy channels and centers, the Agnya chakra resonates to Jesus Christ. Definitely, we all are quite familiar with his declaration: “I am the door to …“.

Imagine that this centre actually represents the small door towards the realm of Sahasrara (7th) Chakra – the lotus with 1000 petals, where the true yoga (union) takes place, where the microcosm and macrocosm becomAgnya-Imagee one and the seeker becomes whole, integrated, realized, awakened, balanced and by this, the seeker has indeed access to “the kingdom of God”.

Those of us that have a subtle connection with Jesus may say they are Christians inwardly and genuinely.  If your Agnya chakra is in a pure and open state, this will allow your own motherly Kundalini energy to complete her journey from the sacrum bone (placed right on top the Root energy centre known as Mooladhara chakra) up to the top of  the head through the fontanelle bone area. Note that “fontanelle ” literally means “small fountain” in Italian  – > transparent symbol for the fountain of rebirth or eternal youth filled with the water of life.

In this way, Kundalini will spontaneously ‘break free’ through the top of the head (egg?!  see the image above) and while in meditation one will enjoy that beautiful feeling of bliss and connection as a liberation from stress, anxiety and mundane worries. One indeed may experience the reality of the sahaj knowledge described below in simple words .. understanding as well the symbolism of the Easter Egg.

“I wonder how many Christians know the significance of an egg. The egg signifies a stage where you are before Realization. When you are in your egg shell , ‘ that’ you are Mr X, you are Mrs Y. But, when you mature fully inside, the bird is ready and that is the time you are hatched. This is the time you get twice-born. So, the Resurrection of Christ signifies that (twice born, reborn in Spirit) , and that’s why we give that egg to people, saying ‘you are that’.. an egg, a reminder of that. And this egg can become the Spirit. ” said Shri Mataji addressing to sahaja yogis during Easter celebrated in  London, UK, 1982.

Wishing A Happy Easter to all those that celebrate it !

So it is for me about “breaking open” to that presence from “within” … and then to let it fly freely like a bird.

Yesterday evening we formed a circle where we each had the opportunity to say a few words about our experience with Sahaja… One person brought up the notion of “doubt”, and mentioned how that was the beginning of an awareness of the significance of Doubt.

Here is what I feel about that thought… once we realize that we “doubt” that we may be more than what we think we are, then that doubt serves as the catalyst for moving us into the inner part of ourselves. Slowly our doubt begins to disappear as we replace that with the love of knowing that we are more than what we thought.

That doubt is simply the “fear” of not having enough, but we always have enough. Thinking that we do not have enough is about being stuck in the outer realm. We think our treasure is to be found in the external. And as we begin to unravel the pieces of our doubt then we begin to discover our treasure is much closer to home… it is within. This treasure is the “Tree of Life”, our Chakra system… it is the treasure that we seek.

So let go doubt, and find what you already have.

Thank you for being a mirror for me… as I see this message is clearly for me.

        Shri Mataji on Birds…

        “THEY FLY”

So be free to fly and enjoy this experience called Life…

    Dear Adrian:

I found very interesting that you put your attention on “doubt” the way you saw it open up to me that instead of being bad doubt is good for everybody it is a begining when you start questioning your conditioning and beliefs.

Then as Shri Mataji has said once you have the proof then you must accept the Truth because as you said in the Tree of Life you will find this Truth.

    All my love,

    Carmen

    1. adrian

So true what you say Carmen, about… “accept the truth”… for that is what it means to be “Self Realised”…

and then to actually put it into action… and not to just think it and talk it… that is how we come to BE.

Now I understand the significance of the Easter Eggs – we are in our egg shell, once we get the pure knowledge, we hatch and get our rebirth/become realized souls, we become the pure spirit – simply beautiful.

    Lots of love always.

    1. adrian

That is our “Resurrection” in action…

The Aramaic Lord’s Prayer is not only beautiful but meaningful. Thanks so much for finding this interesting information It has been translated directly from Aramaic to English and beautifully done. To hear that there are many versions of the Lord’s Prayer and their essence speaks from Jesus – Forgiveness, speaks volumes.

The significance of the egg is something I never new, although I celebrate Easter this year which will be 1 week later. I also painted eggs and how more meaningful if I had known the history – To be twice-born.

This is the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic by Vimala.

Of course, we are celebrating Christmas tonight, but the Sahaj significance is strong for both Christmas and Easter.

  8. Kristi

When I am able to meditate, it is amazing to have some peace. Thank you!

  9. Helen

Am enjoying the meditations very much. They are so helpful to cleanse the chakras and help me to become more aware of when i am not being in awareness. To be in the present moment is so peaceful joyful and filled with bliss.
    Thank you

“Birds don’t identify themselves with the Eggs and settle down in one place.… They Fly.”
The above quote from Shri Mataji in this article helped me see clearly that even after realization, I have found myself identifying with ego and conditionings. The realization is an amazing breakthrough…and it is sad that I let my past and habits weigh down greatness of my realization down. One you know who you are…why to hang on to the past. Shri Mataji always simplifies such difficult concepts and each quote brings such revelations/”realizations”. Thank you for this enlightening article. I have always loved the aramaic version of Lord s prayer and for years I placed it in front of my eyes at my work station to remind myself of my connection and purpose. So beautiful. I will be sure to start my morning with vimala’s recording above and bath in vibrations.
