Insight in Nutritional Sciences – Patterns found in Whole Foods and Body Organs

Patterns found in Whole Foods and Body Organs knowns as “The Doctrine of Signatures”

The Time Has Come for Fruits and Veggies

So one must understand, though it looks like very traditional or anything like that, one must see that those things which are harmful to human beings must be given up.

The time has come for all of us to give up those things which are not good for our health, which are not good for our spiritual being.

The time has come.”

Shri Mataji – founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation

A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by today’s investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what was once called ‘The Doctrine of Signatures’ was astoundingly correct. It now contends that every whole food has a pattern that resembles a body organ or physiological function and that this pattern acts as a signal or sign as to the benefit the food provides the eater. Here is just a short list of examples of Whole Food Signatures.
carrot-sectionA sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye…and science shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
walnutsA Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
redkidneybeans
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys. celery

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength.
Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
avocado

Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female – they look just like these organs. Today’s research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? …. It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

olives

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

citrusfruit

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

The mango is a very auspicious fruit and it is very healthy for us. It is the same shape as the uterus. The paisly design is known as the sign of the Goddess because it is the same shape as the uterus and the mango!

Since we are becoming a society which lives on processed, packaged foods with a long shelf life, it is good to be reminded of what we should really eat to be healthy. We have the best sources of food here and yet we are reported to be an unhealthy group on average I grew up in a house where there were no canned foods purchased and food in jars was home canned. This is not possible today nor necessary.

What an intelligent creation of nature…so many clues are right in front of us but we miss them because we don’t know our depth…but after our self realization we tune in…if we so desire to find out something about ourselves the answers come and we can even recognize these indications.
The article above reminded me about tuning in. Thank you for sharing.

From my experience Yoga is not only limited to meditation rather it’s a lifestyle. Once one is in balance, can automatically give up unhealthy choices without outside enforcement.

Mother Nature is great and is always ready to heal us. The only obstruction we create is ignore all the signs. Loved this article as a reminder to eat and appreciate all these amazing fruits and vegetables full of nutrients. Thank you so much.
