Namaste in Three Forms: Condolence Letter from Mayor of Burlington, Walter’s Poem & Singing Testimonial from Yogi Yoann

Condolence Letter from Rick Goldberg – Mayor of Burlington

Shri Mataji – the founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation

Some people worship out of fear

Some people worship out of awe

Some people worship out of expectation

Some people worship out of desperation

Some people worship what they love

Some people worship what they want

The wise, though, worship out of love

They worship to be one with what they long

They worship to rise on the waves of their love

They worship to become their better selves

They worship the love in their teacher

They worship the love in the earth, the sun and the moon

They worship the love in the mother and father

They worship the love in each other

Namaste – I bow to the love within you

Please strengthen the love in me

– poem by Walter Lerchner, sahaja yogi from Austria

Singing Heart’s Namaste – Story & VIDEO

Singing from the Heart Rishi and Krishn from Ontario - photo by Omar

Yoann Freget is a young artist, music therapist from France who was touring Canada and USA in the fall of 201o.  Yoann’s strong desire was to perform gospels in front of his beloved guru and spiritual mother – Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – and this desire was fulfilled earlier this year. But not as he expected. Listen to Yoann’s words that come as his heart’s deepest Namaste: ” I was in Cabella, to pay a last hommage to Mother’s Physical Body, where I sung “Hail Mary” adapted as “Hail Shri Mataji” in front of the Body of our Divine Mother, Her last night at Cabella… and this was just one of the biggest blessing I had in my life… She fulfilled my desire to sing one day in front of Her Form at the last times… I would never have thought it would happen that way, but that was definitely so auspicious to have this privilege to sing and cry of Joy among the Angels worshiping and saying goodbye to the Physical Body of Our Mother. Then I went to Paris for the most important singing competition of Soul Music in France, which is not on TV but on stage. I started that in February in my city, Montpellier. The first step of it, I came first among the four people selected for the 1/4 final, that was my first step in Paris for music … I finished also first among the four selected for the half final… I sang “I BELIEVE I CAN FLY”, dedicating it to our most beloved Shri Mataji, gone 1 week before the competition (I told them in intro : “I would like to  dedicate this song to a person who just fly away (… Silence filled with tears of Devotion, that already made cries a part of the room) – and who is ALWAYS here. (… – tears in the heart again).” The VIDEO from that performance is below.

Below you can see a slideshow with the Felicitations that were sent to Shri Mataji from officials (Prime Minister of Canada, Toronto Mayor and other government representatives).
